For this project we picked a self portrait picture and we traced over all the dark spots with sharpie. We then went to the light box and went over it again on a plain white piece of paper. After we were done with that step we rubbed charcoal while the paper was sitting on a lino block. We then traced over the charcoal marks with sharpie to darken the marks. Then we look a Lino carver and carved out all the light spaces. When we had it all carved out we put paint over it and pressed into paper and made 4 copies. I chose the colors yellow, purple, red and pink, and blue ombre. My favorite copy i made was the blue ombre. I think the colors printed the best and it looked the coolest.
